Myself was a Commissioned Officer 1974-1982, in Sri Lanka and Oman Air force, held the rank of "Flight Lieutenant". At present , 40 years of experience in General Aviation - training & checking, aerodrome operations & management. With respect to “General Aviation”, ATO Management , a Pilot examiner in the region (SL, Maldives ,India), had the honour to conduct 1000+ skill tests for the “Issue, Renewal and Endorsement” of Air Crew Licenses of those pilot aspirants.
- 1991 to 2021: Promoter & MD of Sky Cabs (Cargo Carrier) and CEO & Head of Pilot training/ Examiner of Asian Academy of Aeronautics (Pilot Training Academy) of SL & Maldives (Gan Island)
- 2003-04: Consultant/ DFO to set up Aerolanka Cargo airline
- 1998 Nov; Appointed as a "Member of the Consultative Panel" by then Hon Minister of Aviation, Sri Lanka
- 2006 Sep: Appointed as a "Panelist" to CAASL to conduct "English Language Proficiency test" for Air Crew License holders
- 2008 Jan: Appointed as a "Member" to CAASL Examination board to evaluate "CPL Bridge Examinations"
